This October, one of the best European festivals returns for its fifth year!
Defected Malta 2026 begins with a pre-party on Thursday 1st October and continues until the early hours of Monday 5th October.

Following another incredible European festival that saw artists like Armand Van Helden, A-Trak, Skream, TSHA, Groove Armada, Honey Dijon, Purple Disco Machine, Lil Louis, Luke Solomon, Melé, Oden & Fatzo and so many more take over multiple stages across the island, Defected Malta will return in October 2026.
Stay tuned for fiery stage takeovers and boat parties from our all-encompassing family of labels and collaborators, including Defected, Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Faith, Nu Groove and more… We can't wait to see what new ventures the fifth festival in 2026 will bring.
In a letter to fans, Wez Saunders addressed the success of last year’s weekend celebration:

UNESCO world heritage sites The Ditch and Fort St. Elmo both returned in 2025 alongside multi-room super-hub UNO. Stay tuned for a a host of unforgettable, intimate boat parties soundtracked with world-class 100% house music to make Defected Malta the perfect weekend getaway.
