Defected Reveals New Malta Festival Stage Plus Stage Splits

We can now reveal more about our Mediterranean festival stages
The third edition of Defected Malta will take place 04-06 October 2024. Tickets are currently available via the tabs above.
We can now reveal more details about the stages making up our Mediterranean festival, including our brand-new debut stage: ‘The Ditch’.
A cooler alternative replacing the heat of Fort St. Elmo, The Ditch in Valletta once acted as a giant moat in the 16th century, earning its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site status. ‘The ditch served as a final deterrent to stop any invading enemy from directly reaching the city’s walls’.
Nowadays, the unique venue has been refurbished into a scenic area with gardens, with its tall walls keeping avid party-goers cool from the sun all day.
Taking to The Ditch for the first time ever on Sunday 06 October will be Dennis Ferrer, Green Velvet, HoneyLuv, Dunmore Brothers and Juliet Mendoza.
The Ditch joins returning stages Café Del Mar, Treehaus, Roots and of course the Main Room. Read on for our stage splits…
The Main Room at Uno will host the best music from around the globe across all three festival nights, including an extra-terrestrial Planet Eliza stage takeover with Eliza Rose.
The Friday sees the Planet Eliza stage takeover kick things off with Eliza Rose, Dan Shake and Lovefoxy.
Friday continues with Defected, featuring sets from Melé, Eats Everything, TSHA and Cinthie.
Saturday sees Glitterbox add its festival sparkle with David Penn, The Shapeshifters, Melvo Baptiste and Yasmin.
Sunday will host Defected again to close the festival with sets from Nic Fanciulli, Sam Divine, Darius Syrossian, Nasser Baker, Rio Tashan and Olive F.
Café Del Mar, situated away from the Uno site will not only host our pre-party, but also a Saturday day celebration with Defected.
At our pre-party on Thursday 03 October, from 2pm to midnight, join Melon Bomb, Kimbros, Lloyd Nwagboso B2B Mitch Nunn and Rosie Ama.
Then on Saturday, the Defected stage brings Gorgon City, Low Steppa, Todd Edwards, Arielle Free and Alex Mills.
Glitterbox opens the Treehaus on Friday with Dave Lee JN, Horse Meat Disco, Mousse T., Sam Karlson and Minna.
Classic Music Co. returns to the Treehaus on Saturday with Luke Solomon, Honey Dijon, Grace Sands and Dee Diggs.
Sunday hosts the return of Glitterbox with Danny Krivit, Dames Brown, Natasha Diggs and Ben Westbeech.
Situated between the Treehaus and the Main Stage, our Roots stage returns after its festival debut last year.
Friday features the Faith X Nu Groove takeover, with X-Press 2, Deetron, Seamus Haji, Stuart Patterson B2B Dave Jarvis B2B Terry Farley and Smokin’ Jo.
On Saturday, delight in the Stay True Sounds vibes with Fka Mash, Kid Fonque, China Charmeleon and Sio.
Sunday sees The Remedy Project return with Makèz, Wookie, Melvo Baptiste, Close Counters and Millie Watts.
