Defected Brings Even More Stages to Malta Festival

We can now reveal even more about the stages and their respective line-ups at our October weekend festival!
Like last year, multi-purpose venue UNO acts as the main hub of the festival, hosting the best music from around the globe across three stages and three nights.
Friday 3rd October sees Glitterbox kick things off on the Main Stage at UNO on Friday with Cameron, Melon Bomb, MiNNA, Purple Disco Machine, The Reflex and Yasmin.
On Saturday 4th, Defected brings the house heat with Danny Howard, Ferreck Dawn, Groove Armada and Monki.
Sunday 5th will host Defected again to close out the epic weekend festival, with sets from Arielle Free, Edd, Hannah Wants, Low Steppa and Sam Divine.
Glitterbox opens the Treehaus at UNO on Friday with Carl Craig, Darius Syrossian, Harry Romero, Lil Louis, Melé and Olive F.
Classic Music Company returns on Saturday with Honey Dijon, Luke Solomon, Makèz and The Duke.
Sunday hosts Glitterbox with Ella Knight, The Brothers Macklovitch, The Shapeshifters and Zach Witness.
Situated between the Treehaus and the Main Stage, our Roots stage returns on Friday with Nu Groove; Cinthie, Deetron, DJ Steaw, Seamus Haji and Stanley Hood represent the sound of the cult NYC label.
Saturday sees Henrik Schwarz, Jullian Gomez and Thakzin offer an eclectic mix of sonics.
Underground aficionados can catch the Faith stage on Sunday at Roots, with Dave Jarvis, Stuart Patterson and Terry Farley.
Café Del Mar, situated away from the UNO site will not only host our pre-party, but also a full day of celebrations with Defected and Glitterbox.
At our pre-party on Thursday 2nd October, from 2pm to midnight, join Darius Syrossian, Dunmore Brothers, Lloyd Nwagboso, Olive F, Phil De Janeiro and Riva Starr representing Defected.
Then on the festival Saturday, the venue is split into two stages! Defected continues with A-Trak, Oden & Fatzo, Paisley Jensen and Todd Terry while Glitterbox arrives with Ben Westbeech, DJ Spen, Fat Tony, L3NI and Melvo Baptiste.
Making its grand return after a hiatus last year is Fort St Elmo, making this Malta the edition with the highest number of stages to date.
Glitterbox will grace the historic site on Sunday, with Aline Rocha, Armand Van Helden, Horse Meat Disco and Mousse T. bringing the world-class party sonics.
Making its debut last year, and returning for a second year, The Ditch in Valletta is back!
Once a giant moat in the 16th century and now a refurbished, scenic dancefloor with gardens, The Ditch’s tall walls keep avid party-goers cool from the sun all day.
On Sunday 5th, Eats Everything, Nic Fanciulli, Rio Tashan, SKREAM and TSHA will grace the UNESCO World Heritage Site from 13:00 – 21:00 for a day party like no other.
The fourth edition of Defected Malta will begin with our pre-party on Thursday 2nd October, until the early hours of Monday 6th October 2025.
