Back for a fourth year, we can now reveal the line-up of talent set to take over our European festival in 2025.
The next wave of tickets will be available right here on 28 February 2025.
From pre-parties on Thursday 02 October to the early hours of Monday 06 October, our weekend festival delivers summertime heat much later in the year than expected, with an impeccable atmosphere and last year's surprises making Defected Malta a DJ Mag Top 100 Festival in 2024.
Icons of the scene making their mark at our renowned festival for the first time include Honey Dijon, A-Trak, Purple Disco Machine and The Reflex, with even more headline names set to be announced soon.
Joining them will be Aline Rocha, Arielle Free, Cameron, Carl Craig, Cinthie, Danny Howard, Darius Syrossian, Dave Jarvis, DJ Open, DJ Steak, Dunmore Brothers, Eats Everything, Edd, Ella Knight, Fat Tony, Ferreck Dawn, Groove Armada (DJ Set), Hannah Wants, Harry Romero, Henrik Schwarz (Live), Horse Meat Disco, Jullian Gomes, L3NI, Low Steppa, Luke Solomon, Makèz, Melé, Melon Bomb, Melvo Baptiste, MiNNA, Monki, Mousse T., Nic Fanciulli, Olive F, Rio Tashan, Riva Starr, Sam Divine, Seamus Haji, Stanley Hood, Stuart Patterson, Terry Farley, Thakzin, The Brothers Macklovitch, The Duke, The Shapeshifters, TSHA, Yasmin and Zach Witness.
Hosted across Malta’s most in-demand venues, we're returning to St. Paul’s Bay with takeovers at the town’s luxe beach club, Café del Mar. Multi-room venue UNO continues to serve as the main hub in the evenings, with the versatile space hosting stages from us and the family of labels Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Nu Groove and Faith - with even more takeovers to come in the lead up to October.
A returning favourite, boat parties offering an intimate artist experience and unparalleled views of Malta during the festival, and will set sail daily – soundtracked by world class house music from the scene’s best.
Following a brand-new venture last year, UNESCO heritage site The Ditch returns for a unique take on open-air celebration, set in the heart of Valletta with tall, stone walls keeping avid party-goers cool from the heat.
Bringing together our global community of fans alongside an incredible line-up of world-class DJs, our epic Malta festival offers the ultimate weekend of unrivalled entertainment, welcoming all to celebrate at one of Europe’s most desirable holiday destinations.
Defected Malta will begin with pre-parties on Thursday 02 October until the early hours of Monday 06 October 2025.
